Output to Video-tape

Output: AVI file put on video-tape

1. Make sure the video is rendered in Adobe Premiere with the following project settings:

2. Set output volume

Use volume control to set the correct output volume:

3. Connect video recorder

Connect the video recorder by connecting:

4. Select output settings

Use MiroVIDEO DC10 Control to set the Output Device to Composite or S-Video (depending on how the video recorder is selected)

5. Set video recorder channel

Set video recorder channel to E1 (external input 1)

6. Record

  1. Put in Video-tape

  2. Use the Windows 98 Mediaplayer to play the AVI-file (select Device, Miro AVI cache...)
    tip.gif (221 bytes)As AVI files have a size limit of 2GB it is not directly possible to put long files on video tape without interruption. This can be solved using tool.gif (185 bytes)AVI_IO or tool.gif (185 bytes)DDClip.
  3. Record the played AVI file with the video recorder.
